• Household and sharing data: if you join or create a household, we store which accounts belong to that household and which recipes, notes, or preferences are shared within it.
• Dietary and preference data: information you choose to provide about dietary preferences (including kosher status) is stored to personalize your experience — for example, filtering or flagging recipes.
• Push notification data: if you enable notifications, we store a device-specific push token so we can deliver notifications to your device. You can disable this at any time in your device or app settings.
• Recipes and notes: content you create (recipes, notes, comments) is stored and associated with your account and household.
• Usage analytics: we use PostHog to collect basic usage data (pages viewed, actions taken, and device/browser information) to understand how the app is used and to improve it.

Sharing Within Your Household

Recipes, notes, and certain preferences are visible to other members of your household by design — that's the core purpose of the household feature. You can control what you personally share via your account's privacy controls. Your content is not made public or visible to anyone outside your household unless you explicitly choose to share it elsewhere.

Data Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with service providers who help us operate the app — hosting, email delivery, push notification delivery, and PostHog for usage analytics — solely to provide and improve the service, not for their own marketing purposes.

Your Choices and Controls

• You can review and update your account information at any time.
• You can leave a household or adjust what you share within it.
• You can disable push notifications at any time.
• You can delete your account and its associated data at any time from Settings, or read more on our account deletion page.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
